Brand system
EncoreIQ is the quiet infrastructure behind the encore.
An AI-powered repeat guest platform. The identity should read like Stripe, Linear and Mercury — engineered, restrained, financially serious — never like a vacation rental listing. This page is the reference for anyone building, writing or designing for EncoreIQ.
The mark
A loop that never closes, and a return that keeps climbing.
The mark is built from two ideas and nothing else. The continuous circle is the guest relationship: it comes back around on itself, the way a returning guest does, the way recurring revenue does. It is drawn in Signal Blue as a single unbroken stroke because retention is one motion, not a series of campaigns.
The circle is deliberately open at the top right. A closed ring is a cycle that only repeats. The gap is where the loop escapes itself — the point at which a repeat guest stops being a repeat and becomes compounding growth. Never close it.
Inside sits the upward arrow in Encore Gold: direct revenue, margin recovered from the OTAs, the metric the host actually cares about. Gold appears here and almost nowhere else, so the eye learns that gold means money returned. Read as a whole, the arrow rising through the ring also traces the shoulder and spine of an abstract E — the letterform is felt rather than spelled.
Geometry is strict: a 48-unit square, a 16.6-unit radius, uniform 4.2 stroke weight and round caps throughout. The arrow is optically centered, not mathematically centered, so the mark sits still inside its tile.
Recurring loop
Signal Blue
One unbroken stroke, open at 45°.
Upward arrow
Encore Gold
Direct revenue. The only gold on screen.
Grid

Lockups and clearspace
Primary lockup
Compact lockup — navigation, app chrome
Mark on ink — favicon, avatars, app icon
Monochrome — single-color print, engraving, embossing
- Clearspace on all sides equals the height of the mark's tile.
- Minimum size: 20px for the mark, 108px wide for the full lockup.
- Drop the tagline below 24px tile height — the wordmark carries it.
- On photography or gradients, always keep the ink tile behind the mark.
Misuse
Color
A cool, engineered palette. Slate and ink do the structural work; blue carries every action; gold is rationed so it always reads as return. No warm vacation tones, no gradients on text, no color used decoratively.

Voice and imagery
Say this
- Repeat guest platform. Direct revenue. Retention infrastructure.
- Specific numbers over adjectives: "18% of stays came back direct."
- Calm, declarative sentences. No exclamation marks.
Never this
- "Website builder", "listing tool", or anything that sounds like a PMS.
- Houses, roofs, keys, map pins, palm trees, beaches, suitcases.
- Bright tropical color, stock smiling travelers, playful illustration.
Imagery is data, not scenery: charts, cohort grids, interface fragments and dark glass panels. Property photography only ever appears inside a guest site — never in EncoreIQ's own brand surfaces.
